Shipping Golf Clubs for a Round with Grandpa

Do you have golf clubs lying around your house that Grandpa has been asking for? Maybe he has moved into a senior living facility and golfs daily with his buddies but has had to use his old beat up golf clubs, which means it is time to ship your golf clubs to Grandpa and show him just how much better he can play with good golf clubs.

Start by deciding what you what to ship. Are you going to ship your golf bag, gold clubs and golf balls or just the clubs? Take inventory of what you want to send, then you can decide on a box.

You can find boxes at multiple locations, a home improvement store, online (EcoBox) or even Craigslist. All of these places would be a great option. You just need to make sure that the box is strong enough to hold your golf gear.

Once you decide on a box and have purchased it you can start to pack. It is a good idea to first wrap your golf clubs to avoid them banging together and moving around during transit. Do the same thing for your golf balls. Then place your items in the box and make sure they  don’t move around. If it does move, put place holders in the box that will keep everything from shifting.

Use extra tape on when sealing your box. As you know, golf gear is expensive and the last thing you need is for it to fall out of the box and to get lost in transit. Tape the bottom of the box, the sides and of course the top.

Label your box. Put your name, the address you are sending your golf gear to and how many boxes you have on multiple sides of the box. This will lower the chance for your items to get separated or lost.

And lastly, ship your box with Moves for Seniors! Moves for Seniors is your senior moving and shipping service specialist. We can definitely help Grandpa play a better game of golf! And for all other items you might want Grandpa and even Grandma to have.
