We have 5 core areas of support but can work with you on whatever challenge you are facing. The services we pull from to help in these situations include: project management, labor, organizing, local moving, storage, junk removal, donation delivery, shipping, (un)packing, unit set-up.
Situation: A one-week freeze in January 2024 caused burst pipes and flooding across communities in CO, TX, and MO.
Solution: At a number of communities across 3 states, MFS's Operations team provided same- or next-day service from local labor and moving teams. We moved furniture from impacted areas to alternative spaces, relocated resident furniture and belongings (onsite and offsite), and removed trash and debris.
Situation: A community updating their common area had a giant fish tank that had to be moved.
Solution: An MFS Operations Specialist got all the specs and details related to the tank. They arranged for a local fish specialist to come to the community and drain and clean the tank (while caring for the fish). A local labor team disassembled and relocated the tank to its new position, them set it back up. The fish were returned safely to the tank.
Situation: A community in CA planned a complete kitchen renovation and needed help with the heavy lifting.
Solution: MFS provided a 6-person labor/moving team to transfer countertops, appliances, and equipment to onsite storage, disassembling as required. We moved all non-perishable food products and supplies as well. Post-reno, our team moved everything back, reassembled as needed, and discarded leftover supplies & debris.
Situation: Across partners and communities, residents pass away or suddenly move out.
Solution: MFS Legacy Services are designed for these situations. When a resident passes, we can partner with the family, no matter their location, to take care of belongings left behind - shipping, discarding, or donating. Note - for impersonal cleanout scenarios, we can often provide flat-rate junk removal service.
